Lights, Camera…but No Flash

We waited and planned for this newborn session with such excitement. I prepped and planned, tested lighting, and couldn’t wait to get started. When they arrived, I couldn’t wait to meet her. We picked outfits and accessories, got her on the bean bag, and just as she settled in and drifted off…click, but no flash? But wait, I tested the lighting countless times. We tried and tried with no luck. We finally called it quits for the day and made plans to try again another day, because my flash continued to malfunction.

A few days later we came back to try, try again after purchasing not one, but two new triggers for my flash. There was no way I was going to have another equipment malfunction stand in the way of capturing this newborn session. I’m so thankful for patient parents, and second chances that turned out beautifully.
