Nothing to See Here
If someone would have had a video camera to capture behind the scenes at this senior session, I think everyone else would be laughing just as hard as us. Bluebonnet photos can be tricky, as there’s a level of respect that has to be given being that they are our state flower. We planned for the session, arrived and tiptoed around the rules of such a session. As a bunch of rule followers, each time we heard a car approaching, we dashed to hide in or behind our cars, as if people weren’t going to see us clear as day. The cars would pass and we’d emerge laughing uncontrollably. It was clear that others had been there before us, as seen in the small patches left behind where they had stood for their own photos. Which honestly, was nice to see that others had been respectful of the bluebonnets and protected the fact that they do not return year after year if they are trampled in previous years. So we kept to the pre-made patches, and captured beautiful images of this sweet young lady before she embarked on her new journey that was awaiting her in college. But not without a little mischief-making along the way.
