“Old Paint”

This beauty got up bright and early to brave the cold for her senior session, which allowed us to beat the rush of the Saturday crowd in Fredericksburg when the street comes alive. We had the best time exploring different locations for photo ops. We were able to walk and talk, stop when an area called to us, and then carry on. Her mom kept us laughing the entire time with her silly comments in the background.

As we walked back to the warmth of our cars, Mom had one more request…”Take a picture on the pony?!?” Although her request was met with some resistance at first, eventually she saddled up and took the photo just for her mom. Who would have known that in one moment of doing what she thought was a silly pose, that it would send up capturing such a fun moment, and one of her mom’s favorite images from the entire session.

Moral of the story, when given the chance to let you inner child free, live in the moment—especially when Mama is asking!!!
