Here Comes Peter Cottontail…

This was a special one! Over Spring Break we took a road trip to meet the cutest little bunny ever—my nephew. Even though he was going to be about month old at the time, my sister and I planned for me to take his newborn photos. Needless to say, I was over the moon excited as I packed all my photography gear for a newborn session in the back of my car. When school for the kids ended I couldn’t wait to get on the road after a month to meet the little guy. Nearly 20 hours later and I was cradling him in my arms giving him some extra special Auntie love.

Being that newborns are typically photographed within the first 2 weeks, we had our fingers crossed that we’d meet with success. Luckily, he was a trooper. Once he settled in, he crashed out for the rest of the session making things go nice and smooth. This was one of my favorite images from his session. I’m super grateful to have had the opportunity to capture these images of him just after he snuck into Mr. Mcgregor’s garden to steal some carrots, just in time for Easter.

Welcome to the family little one. We are so in love with you already!!!
