Down By the River

Tyler was one of my favorite kids when I started subbing after the move. I loved the way he quietly chuckled at others in class when they tried to push the limits, not realizing I had taught for 18 years, and it wasn’t my first rodeo. Also not knowing that math was my subject, so even though I was a sub, I could actually help if they needed it. So, when Tyler asked me to do his senior photos, I was honored. We escaped to some property his family owned down by the river and made it happen. It was fun to chat throughout the session, about how he remembered me subbing and where he was headed next.
